Return and Refund Policy

No Returns Accepted

Due to the personalized and custom-printed nature of our student business cards, we do not accept returns or provide return shipping addresses. Each order is printed specifically for you, just like a custom t-shirt or photo book.

Refund Policy Overview

We want you to love your cards. However, because every order is custom-made, we generally do not offer refunds for:

  • Buyer's remorse

  • Ordering the wrong quantity

  • Not liking the design after purchase

  • Minor color variations (see below)

When We Will Help

We follow our print partner Gelato's quality guarantee. If there's a problem on our end, we'll make it right.

When We Will NOT Offer Refunds or Replacements

The following are not covered under our quality guarantee:

  • Color variations – Printing is a chemical process. Slight differences between screens and printed cards are normal and within acceptable tolerance.

  • Design errors – Please double-check your spelling, layout, and images before submitting. We print exactly what you upload.

  • Wrong address provided – If the shipping address you entered is incorrect, we cannot replace or refund the order.

  • Unclaimed packages – If your customer doesn't pick up their order from the post office, we cannot replace or refund.

  • Rejected deliveries – If the recipient refuses the package, we cannot replace or refund.

How to Report a Problem

If your cards arrive damaged, defective, or not as ordered:

  1. Contact us within 30 days of receiving your order

  2. Email support@thecardversity.com with:

    • Your order number

    • A clear photo showing the issue

    • A brief description of what went wrong

We will investigate with our print partner. If approved, we will send a free replacement order as quickly as possible.

Order Cancellations

Because printing begins quickly after you place your order:

  • Within 1 hour of placing order – Contact us and we may be able to cancel (no guarantee)

  • After 1 hour – Orders are typically in production and cannot be cancelled

Your Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws. If required by law in your jurisdiction, refunds will be issued as legally required.
